Dear colleagues! This issue is dedicated to the results of the outgoing year. In my opinion it was very tense and ambiguous. For example the transition to electronic certificates and the implementation of the program Mercury were a huge issue! But we don’t give up and continue to fight for the exclusion of our products from the lists of goods with veterinary transport documents. This year was also very difficult for veterinary drug manufacturers. GMP inspection of enterprises, new pharmacovigilance procedures, selective quality control and registration procedures did not allow manufacturers to work in a regular mode and to develop new products for the good of our pets. At the end of the year, in two days, the law “On Responsible Treatment of Animals” was passed, which satisfied animal rights activists, but hit the entrepreneurs hard.
But we won’t start the new year with negative news. There were wonderful moments for the pet business. The ParkZoo pet-industry exhibition is developing rapidly, pet products consumption is growing, pet products departments in retail chains and new pet stores are being opened, new clinics and pharmacies are appearing. And this means that the pet industry does not lose ground.
Happy New Year! We wish you new victories, patience, prosperity and love!
